The route passes through all the villages of the Comino Valley located over the hills and mountains surrounding the valley. Areas of rolling hills with vineyards and olive groves alternate with flat areas of countryside and stretches of steeper climbs. The climbs leading to Vicalvi and then Settefrati are very scenic.
